Best iPod Docks for Your Dorm Room 2

First off, know this, young idealist: The Vers 2X is made of environmentally-friendly materials and production methods, and is easily recycled once you're eventually done with it. Perhaps, however, it should instead go on the museum shelf: Though you may never have heard of it, the Vers 2X is almost hands-down the nicest-looking iPod dock on the market (and you can plug in an external sound source via the headphone input from underneath the speaker, so it minimizes the view of wires). There are a few design quirks (no easy toggle between using external audio sources and the iPod, meaning you have to unplug the former to use the latter), but nothing too bothersome. The sound is very good at lower volumes; it doesn't get super loud, making it perhaps more ideal for a bedroom speaker, but it'll do as a very basic living room sound system. At $150 you're getting a pretty great deal (especially considering the karmic benefits), and it comes in four different wood finishes to suit the particular design sensibilities of your dorm room (read: 'Scarface' or 'Big Lebowski' posters).
