There is also lots of information about dementia and caregiving, as well as a LIVE CHAT every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. USA Eastern time for caregivers who need support, but cannot attend a “live” support group.

Please pass this link along to anyone you feel would enjoy it.

www.KnowItAlz.com

Thanks,
Kathy

Kathy Hatfield

Comments on Keruve GPS Locator To Keep Watch on Alzheimer's Patients

Kathy, My name is Allan and I lost 7 people in my immediate and extended family in 6 months, had to run 5 funerals in 3 states and 2 countries. My father is 87 and with me and has two different diagnosis. Probable Alzheimer's from a Psyc program and another Psyc at the VA who says not Alzheimers. My Dad was a B17 pilot, shot down landed on no engines and flew an extra 5 missions he did not have to. He was in a double blind clinical trial for Exelon that got messed up and after 2 weeks off the medication it was like he went off the cliff. His PCP was a NP who has some substance abuse problems I was not in tune with. What is the sight I would get on to for TU eve chat and how do I do it. Prior to his immediate decline he would walk every day as much as 6 miles and take the bus, go to the library ect.

I am very sorry about your Dad. The VA here has a tracking program - not the best but they seem to care.

Thank you so much Allan

AL

Comments on Keruve GPS Locator To Keep Watch on Alzheimer's Patients

I’m using eCare GPS Locator for my Grandma, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s disorders.
