The 10 Most Stubborn People in Tech 5
Josh Abramson and Ricky Van Veen
Running a Web site that appeals to 18-to-24-year-old males by putting up funny pictures isn't exactly a reinvention of the wheel. Turning that site into a multimedia, multimillion dollar hotspot of funny takes dedication to making those dudes laugh. That unwillingness to cater to any other audience is how Josh Abramson (pictured, right) and Ricky Van Veen (pictured, left) took College Humor from an easy way to stay in touch as college freshman to a business that was acquired by Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp. Rather than grow up, the site grew out, adding original articles and videos while maintaining a healthy dose of babes. Who'd have thought there'd always be an audience for that?
