The 10 Most Stubborn People in Tech 10

Philip Rosedale
The general public often wonders why people get so involved in MMORPGs like 'World of Warcraft,' so it's been hard for many to understand why so many people are attracted to a game/online world like Second Life. There are no monsters to fight in this virtual world; rather, people open "businesses," buy "land," chat with each other and have avatar sex, so it's still surprising that founder Philip Rosedale succeeded with his vision of a virtual world. The site has thousands, if not millions of users, yet skeptics still abound as Second Life turns five this year. Rosedale, before stepping down as CEO of Linden Labs, held fast to his vision, saying that his creation could someday overtake the Web for communicating and collaborating. Either way, getting spoofed on 'The Office' is a great sign that you've made it.

Hmmm... Two things wrong with the list.
1) The article should have been the 10 Most Stubborn COMPANIES, since some pages had two or three people.
2) Neither Steve "chair-man" Balmer nor Bill Gates made the list. Anyone who has had to deal with Microsoft on trying to develop standards knows that, besides "embrace, extend, extinguish", if you CAN get them to sit down for a discussion, it's either Microsoft's way or no-way. Of course, they'll listen intently, then go off to develop the same thing, only with just enough quirks to make it incompatible with anyone else's work. But being a monopoly, you get to ram it down customer's throats because you can. Gotta love 'em. Or at least have some envy their power.

I read the tiny blurbs about the "10" people you had listed, I clicked next each time so that you could successfully feed more ads and once I actually scrolled all the way down to the bottom of the page, just to see how much completely pointless space you wasted by putting a single person per page.
While the "article" itself was interesting the shameless ad serving is pretty appalling.
