I understand what you are saying and I didn't buy one but the blackberry and others have the extra service charges. It's a totally different league than a regular phone. I have the newest razor 3G which is fine but I'd rather have a PDA. I don't mind paying for it, I have 3 lines though and I don't think the prices of family plans along with the iphone are fair at all. I actually have an iphone still in the box unopened. It was a gift and when I looked at the family plan, it changed everything. So, it's still sealed in the original box. Then I heard a faster one came out, because my friend has the same as I have in the box and he says it's slow so I tried to upgrade to the faster one but AT&T wouldn't take it back. Real nice! And apple was even worse about it!! At least they have a phone now that will keep up with the internet, but the family price plans are ridiculous when you have regular phones on the plan as well. I might just leave AT&T soon and try another provider. Who cares if they don't carry the iphone.

Claudia
