'Wall-E' Chock Full of Apple and Mac References

But that's far from the only Apple allusion in the film. Wall•E also watches a video on an iPod at one point, sounds the Mac welcome chime when he's done charging, and, in one sequence, chases a herd of boxy, single-buttoned computer mice across the floor.
Why all the Apple love? Pixar was founded by Apple boss Steve Jobs, and though he did sell the studio to Disney in 2006, he obviously still holds a lot of influence. [Source: The New York Times]

Just to clarify some of your history... Jobs isn't the founder of Pixar. He co-founded Apple, and founded NeXT, but George Lucas founded the company that would eventually become pixar. Steve Jobs bought the Graphics Group from Lucasfilm and renamed it Pixar. He might have helped transform it into a CG-film powerhouse, but he didn't create the company.
And of course Jobs would certainly have quite a bit of influence at Pixar, seeing that he's currently the largest shareholder of Disney (7%- over $4 bln dollars worth of DIS common). With that kind of controlling stake, I'm surprised we haven't seen even more Apple references in Disney productions.

Wow, Tim. You should really do a little bit of research before posting a story like this. Cornelius is absolutely correct. The factual errors in this story (short as it may be) are downright embarrassing.
Not good.
