i have only about 40 friends on facebook. and i know them all pretty well. some have been internet friends i've had for YEARS. others are old classmates and a few relatives. i've got some new ppl that i met through my husband, but i don't see it grown much beyond that. i'm a pretty private person and only friend ppl that i know or have known for a long while. when i see ppl who have hundreds of friends i wonder, "how can one person know THAT MANY ppl?!" there's NO WAY they know that many ppl! and i'm ALL about NOT friending ppl i KNOW and BLOCKING apps. i went on an app benige for my own page and it REALLY crowded everything up and i had to clear it up. my friends thought i went insane. and a i did. but i've gotten better since. all i can say is, exercise common sense when it comes to social networking. err on the side of caution. and if you'd get ashamed if your mom saw it, it doesn't need to be there. :)
