Top 16 Ways the Web Can Save You Money 4

Travel
It's common knowledge these days that there are a bunch of different Internet companies that look for the best deals for your trips – who can forget the Expedia.com jingle or Shatner pimping Priceline.com? You could go to those sites or you could use either Kayak.com or Travelzoo.com, which search multiple sites for you and give you the best deal possible. Both are easy to use, with subtle differences -- Kayak lets easily see and change your options without navigating to multiple pages, while Travelzoo recommends the best sites to use in terms of where you're going. Now, your biggest problem will be making sure you don't bring too much liquid on the plane.

I can't believe you did not include CheapTickets.com in the travel category. I have been using them since before the Internet, when I called a number in L.A. or a toll free number, and picked up tickets on Sepulveda Blvd. And you know how long ago that was. I have repeatedly and consistently gotten the best fares and rentals here. And I shop around, believe me!
