The media is constantly reporting how the Internet is killing print media, and it's mainly because most magazines and newspapers now offer the same content online. If you subscribe to any, check to see if you can read the same stuff online and you can save plenty. If you can't give up your favorite tabloid or sports mag, you can occasionally find net offers that give you free subscriptions, generally after completing some other offer and risking a lot of junk mail. Sure, having a hard copy of your favorite tabloid is great for commuting and, ahem, certain rooms of the house, but if you're looking for a way to cut down your budget, online is the way to go. Plus, it's better for the environment.
