6. E-mail, then text the news -- just don't expect a response.

Using one form of tech to break up with your lover is bad, but it's even more incredible that somebody would use a combination of two to do the deed, which is exactly what happened to Rebekka Olsen. Things weren't working out between Olsen and her boyfriend, so she assumed they'd need to meet to discuss it. Then, she got a text that read "Chek yr email." She did, and found a short letter saying it was over. She didn't respond, and, hours later, she received another text from the guy, asking, again, "chk yr email yet?" Eventually, after no response, he got the hint and said "I'm a big jrk. You hate me?" She says she doesn't, but it's safe to assume that most women would.
