About two weeks ago, former playwright and actress
Tricia Walsh-Smith expressed her frustrations with her current divorce proceedings in (or on) a very public place --
YouTube. Ranting about her husband Philip Smith, Walsh-Smith alternated between pleas for mercy, cries of idiocy, and bouts of petty mud-slinging. Today, she actually heads to divorce court and, in preparation for that, has
posted another bonkers video for all to see.
In this
new vid, Walsh-Smith pulls much the same act as last time -- clad in a red kimono, she pleads her case (somewhat calmly, for a change) to a constantly growing crew of Internet surfers who had no idea who she was before all this, but now can't look away from the train wreck. Count us in that last group. [Source:

She needs God in her life not tarot cards. She needs to get rid of her
anger and move on in her life. She will receive the peace she needs from God.

Obviuosly married her father vicariously. The guy's got to be 30 years older than she. Total nutjob. She should disappear soon.

Poor woman! I was dumped after 31 yrs of marriage-( 2 children) for a much younger woman- even my former spouse would tell you I was a good wife & mother-- As a society- we can not treat spouses like yesterdays garbage- just throw us out when you are tired of us- Disgraceful- I am not sure I agree with her forum- however, I sympathize with her feelings.

First, shame on all of you who think writing, artwork, etc does not constitute a real job. Realtors are considered a bona fide profession, but they too don't get paid till they "sell". So many people live the "interstate or 4 lane highway" life and don't seem to think that others experience something different. She did have it good...and it suddenly ended. There isn't a person out there who wouldn't go through anger and fear if the same happened to them. And how many of you lost a parent or parents at a young age (here, here for losing both by age 19) so I believe her when she says she has always worked in some capacity. And by the way, writing for a living is extremely hard and filled with a lot of rejection until you find someone who believes in your work (she says as she is unpublished herself and holds a day job). How many of you benefit from the "entertainment" world???? Someone out there is supplying the rest of us with that you know. But could she benefit from dropping down some financial knots? Probably. If she believes that something good can come out of something bad, but she probably isn't there yet. And for the comment by some male who said males should get their balls back...geesh. When you all do, please reattach near your intellect. Get out of the "traditional" thinking. Security and stability is a woman's sex you idiots. We are wired that way just as you all are wired sexually. It's not rocket science. As women become more financially self-sufficient (and it is happening), our so called "use" of men will change. I'm not convinced that men won't still use women sexually though. Simple observations, no judgment. Perhaps YouTube is an odd media for public display of this situation, but sheer frustration I'm guessing, led her to use it. The truth of all this will come out in the end and I'm sure their is 2 sides to this story. This is her expression, let her have it. You all would choose your own type expression in similar situations. It may not be YouTube, but I guarantee you would huff and puff somewhere. Personally, I wish her good luck. Her life will change. Good or bad, it is up to her.

How terrible another rich person not willing to help out another person in need....... let alone his once wife, that he wanted to marry. Why should she get nothing? What has she done wrong? When you marry both people take on the others needs and wants and it is a obligation as well as a Commitment . Of course she's upset, of course she wants to be heard. What her husband is doing is so wrong. A little kindness goes a long way.

I would love to organize a group of women with similiar situations. I, myself am presently going through a divorce where my husband has been a heroine addict for the past 18years and now that he is recovering I have been served with divorce papers for abandonment. I had representative that have not helped, but has advised me to fork over $15,000 to an ex-addict that owes thousand in child support. How hilarious is that. I am paying portion of his child support arrears. The $15,000 is to compensate him for his down payment on a home which fell into foreclosure and I personally salvage the home. Yes, I was the fool that had faith that once my dear spouse got off the streets we would work things out, considering that I raise his daughter for the past 18years on my own. A daughter that I must say is doing well in graduate school. Bitter, yes. Understandable, I believe so. If there are others out there or divorce attorneys that work pro bono that feels enough of the abuse toward women with the hardship of divorce, let's get together. An organize that would work together to go to the end and not be presured to quit the battle due to finances is what we need. Let's get together.

Bravo! I too went thru similar circumstances, but have an 18 yp son, and my ex is bi polar, but puts on a good show so no one believed me. I too thought I could help him, stayed too long, too many marriage councelors,..and got shafted in the end by his lies and the legal system that only does care about their fees, then abandons you. Write me, I'd love to form a group!

Remember, there are three sides to the story; his, hers and the truth. She's a nut case. I'd like to hear the husband's side of the story. Cuckoo!!!!
