Traditionalists might balk, but the holiday shopping season is already underway. Skeptical? Head to your local department store and you'll be inundated by Christmas trees and ornaments. Bargain hunters, though, know that the real deals are more than a month away.
Black Friday, traditionally, is when retailers truly slash prices. Early birds can save hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars off of their holiday bills. Switched.com checked with a few elves, who gave a sneak peek at what you can expect deal-wise this year.
Blu-ray Players and Movies: Blu-ray is shaping up to be the biggest door buster of this year's Black Friday. de Grandpre expects at least one retailer will offer a Blu-ray player for just $49. Look for bargains on Blu-ray films as well, with last year's hit titles (such as "Iron Man") to fall as low as $5.
Laptops: With the proliferation of Netbooks this year, it's never been easier to find affordable portable computing, but Dan de Grandpre, CEO of DealNews.com says it will get even cheaper on Black Friday. Look for well-equipped Netbooks to sell for $199 – and basic 15" laptops to go for as little as $249.
HDTVs (Pretty big): The holidays are typically the best time to buy a new TV – and Black Friday is the time to do it. If you're looking for a normal sized set, you're in luck. Piper Jaffrey analyst Mitch Kaiser says he expects to see 32-inch LCD sets for as low as $299. GottaDeal.com is estimating 37-inch plasma and LCD sets will fall to $399 or less.
HDTVs (Really big): Need something bigger? How about a 46-47 inch LCD set for $599 – a 25 percent savings? Or a 52-inch LCD for $999? Dealnews says you can expect both. Plasma deals will be a little harder to come by, but a 50-inch set should run roughly $899.
HD Camcorders: You've wanted to shoot your child's school play in HD for a while, but haven't been able to spring for the pricey camcorder. This might be the year. Low-end, flash-based 720p models could drop as low as $60 (though you won't be able to zoom with those). Expect a high quality 1080p HD camcorder for $349.
GPS: While navigation systems have dramatically expanded their reach this year – even making it onto the iPhone – there's still a market for car-based systems. Dealnews predicts you'll be able to find a no-name entry-level system for $49, while a Garmin or Tom-Tom brand will be as low as $69.
Digital Picture Frames: Showcasing your digital pictures consistently gets cheaper. This year, skip the 7-inch screens and focus on the 8- or 9-inch ones, which should be available on Black Friday for as little as $30.
Monitors: Computer monitors might not be the sexiest of gifts, but they're usually welcomed with open arms – and they'll be cheap this year. Name brand 22-inch LCD models may go for as low as $99, while 24-inch models will drop below $150.
Memory: Don't know anyone who needs a monitor? External hard drives are always popular, since they're an easy way to back-up data. Dealnews expects a 1TB drive to fall as low as $49 this year. Gottadeal is looking for 8GB flash drives to hit $15.

I don't understand why her husband doesn't just give her a couple million dollars and make this go away. The legal bills will be well in excess of a small payoff.

Of course it would be cheaper just to pay her, and in her case, cheaper just to leave, but that isn't who these high society freak jobs are. BOTH of them LIVE to have what others do not, and if they don't, suddenly "they are nothing".
No it never occurs to them that nearly everyone else is "nothing" their entire lives.
For instance, she attempts to achieve a pity point by whining that one of her lawyers has required a $25,000.00 retainer. I guess it never occurs to these types that for the average Jane or Joe that's a couple years earnings, and they will never have the chance to throw away that kind of quid. Not real bright when your audience is youtube masses.
So that's how it goes. It's all about how much money you have, how many of this or that car or item or townhouse or location...
Remember she couldn't stop mentioning her NYC addy in the first vid... then she became enraged saying the guys daughter was gonig to get "her place". You see, she has self percieved "status", with her NYC millionaire's apartment.
Yeah, it's all that matters to that type, those types of people. My friend moved up in employ to CA., and a few years later he told me, "out here it's all about beating the Jones', what you have, and how much you brag about it."
So that's their deal.
Unfortunately, for them, if it gets taken away, they are still stuck with what they cannot get rid of - themselves - and it appears many have judged that factor "a problem" in this case.
I don't mind golddiggers, I don't mind hotties using what they have, but for pete sakes, have some decorum and respect. Be an adult, you know what you got into, and so do all of us. You took a chance, it was great for a while, but now the gamble went sour.
How about having the self control and respect others would appreciate ? I think that probably would show you are worthy of the undertaking that backfired. However, that, you have failed.
I don't mind the wealthy, the filthy rich, the inheritors, or the gold diggers, but don't let me catch you lying, cheating, or being so far from normal that you haven't a clue how you come off to your fellow earthlings.
People used to have public decency and decorum, without losing the storyline, with getting their point across, now we have a Jerry Springer Show societal mentality.
It's disgusting, really, because everyone of any maturity knows everyone goes through things, but it seems the plan is to be a total goof about it nowadays, instead of a respectable human being. I'm sure the man is no better.

Years ago hearing this I would of called you an idiot. But I've been down a road that I thought I would never be down. You married an asshole, and now he wants to destroy you. And as of everyone elses shitty comments, just get strong from it. People don't understand that your bitter because he is destroying you and winning and now you want people to understand. But, the problem is, they always side with the man until he actually kills someone. This exact situation is the reason woman look like their physco. Men suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If Ms Walsh had a real job then she would have some money to fall back on. Since she claims she has a real job, where is the money? I dont doubt that the husband is being a true A--hole but Ms Walsh needs to get ready to move on--- maybe back to the UK. And by the way trish, at your level most of the world doesnt look at what you claim to do as a job. Since it won't support you.

Obviously you do not know how fickle the entertainment business can be... And, do you have $100,000 laying around from your job. Do you know the going rate for a studio apartment in New York City, let alone a house??? We are talking High hundreds of thousands. NYC is one if not the highest rated city for cost of living in the U.S.A.

Tricia, good luck to you my dear. I don't agree for one second, with what your husband is doing to you. Many of the people posting nasty comments are men... who have never had to worry about being on the street. Furthermore... you are not a nut... you're doing what you must do in order to survive.

I have no sound on my computer, so I do not know the "specifics" but have only heard about this case. I am a woman and a mother tho, who has been treated unfairly (to say the least) by the judicial system and my ex as well. When I told him to leave for the millionth time because he was verbally abusive and bi polar, he took everything from me. Because he knows how to "work" the system, and can "appear" charming in public when he has to, apparently everyone believes the lies he tells. I went to 14 marriage counselors with him over a 20 year period, all of whom told me this will end in divorce, but I hung in there for my son and started to work to get away from him. In the end, they held that against me, imputed me income I never earned, believed his lies about his business going under, and gave me 5 yrs alimony when I am 54 YO after a 22 year marriage. This all depends upon who you know, how good a liar you are, and how much money you have for a lawyer, not at all on the truth. I was too honest and trusting, stayed too long and didn't keep good records, and the lawyers made it "all about" money, but to me, it was my integrity, but the court doesn't care about that! Sometimes you have to go public when the system does not work, and it doesn't, alot!! Bravo for any woman who stands up for herself when caught in this maze of corruption, power, lies!!

You stinky little brat! Money, money, money! "Look at me! I'm so great!" Shut up! Stop consulting your cards and go mingle with the middle class to see how we live! Get out of your silk kimono, Get a job at Starbucks so you can put skim milk in the working class cup! I hope you don't get a dime from your X, as your a spoiled little Barbie, who needs to wake up and smell the coffee brewing...And as for the Wheat Grass habit you have, better give that up since you'll have no money to sneak in anyone elses veggie juice....It costs about $4.00 a shot! OH MY!
AS for your tent... Bass Pro Shop has some nice ones at very good prices. Looks like you'll need the best one. Probably the 6 man tent size would be good for you! UGH!!!!! enough already! But really...It's nice to laugh at rich people being Red Neck dumb!

If you do not want ridicule, stay out of the public eye. In other words, don't make any more stupid videos.

I pull my previous support of this "woman". She is nothing but an "attention whore", just like any female from her generation and younger. There needs to be a men's liberation movement soon to take our balls back! We need to use women the same way they use us. We need to manipulate them the same way they manipulate us.

Jump back jack. Don't generalize. That's a sign of ignorance and hatred. Sounds like either someone did you wrong or could it be that you don't have it all together? Seek help before you go around hating a whole species. That's not normal. As for video Trish, she needs psychiatric help. There are two sides to every story but for the life of me I can't understand what purpose she thinks this will do to help her. Can you say crack pot?

This lady is truly nuts. The court should rule that he has to pay for a straight jacket and then have her locked up in the looney bin. She chased an old rich guy and thought everything was great when he was paying for everything. Now she expects him to buy her a parachute as well.
