Top Net Threats Right Now

The threat: The upcoming presidential election
The problem: All of the presidential candidates accept donation contributions online -- but be careful. Extremist supporters have been using "typo-domains" that mimic the Web site of a political rival; when the contributions come in, they're either pocketed or contributed to someone else's campaign. GOP Presidential nominee Ron Paul's campaign received funds from five hundred stolen credit cards, which were stolen from Frost bank; investigators discovered overseas thieves used Paul's site to test the stolen cards with $5 contributions.
How to protect yourself: Don't reply to the email -- and don't click the links inside it, either. Want to make an online donation? Google the name of your candidate of choice, go to his or her official site, and donate away ...

WHENEVER THE MEDIA DOES A STORY ABOUT SUPPOSED FRAUD, THEY DRUM UP SOME "INVENTED" EXAMPLE INVOLVING A REPUBLICAN.
THIS IS DONE TO PROTECT THEIR CONFEDERATES IN THE DEMOCRAT PARTY.

First, the title of your article is "Top Internet Threats Right Now" and you show a picture of Ron Paul. Disgracing a presidential candidate, shameless.
Second, your story warns people of clicking on bad links, yet when you reference Ron Paul, you talk about an overseas stolen credit card scam. What does one have to do with the other? Nothing, other than the fact that you clearly are trying to connect the idea of "scam" with "Ron Paul". Shameless.
Third, if you really want to do some reporting, how about checking into the +$200 million that Obama and Clinton have raised? I can confidently give you a 100% guarantee you'll find some shady contributions in there.

Re: What's the H in Jesus H Christ ... another common practice that irritates me is the use of the phrase: OMG (Oh My
God)usually by people that are (1) clueless as to what that phrase really means or refers to, or believe in it; (2) in the throes of the 'big O' - then they (immediately thereafter) light a cigarette, or (3)use (or refer to)'God' only when cursing, when totally surprised - or when they lack the intelligence to express themselves otherwise.

I find that reading these comments brightens my day relizing that their are people out there that are more stupid then I.

Hmm, It's "more stupid than I" not "then"
A surprising mistake for someone so much smarter than the rest of us.

You have to remember " its not IF but WHEN" it happens to you. Do you have a plan to stop then fix the problem? Dont think your credit card protection has you covered. Check the small print some only cover their card and you are still stuck "fixing the damage".. Be prepaired! have a plan that will stop and fix the problem. www.prepaidlegal.com/memapp/gakers

I had a spate of obscene and unsolicited emails, and I saw red. Wouldn' topen the emails, enough to block the senders, and delete the emails If you are san idiot to open suspicious emails, then you deserve everything you get. Delete it at source, and forget about it.

What about Obama's campaign? The "REAL" people who where in charge of his website, did the same thing. You could go to their website and donate any amount with just the account number. There didn't have to be a correct name, exp date or code from the back of the card. And many were scratching their head wondering where all of his "funny money" came from.
