This isn't about Apple's charm or even the quality of its product. This was a financial/corporate decision.

That said, Apple's products are better than Microsoft's stuff.

Period.

I got an older Powerbook once, loaded up the OS (Tiger) and the thing worked the first time right away.

Haven't said that about MS since...DOS.

Oh and btw....I worked for Dell too....they ONLY care about profit. They could't even keep their stupid kiosks that I worked at open. Apple came from nothing and cherish their customers. They will always bend backward for you to make you happy.
