Man Believes His Dead Wife is Contacting Him Via Cell Phone

It was five years ago when Frank Jones' wife and son died unexpectedly. His son, Steven, died of a brain tumor at an early 32. Three months later, his wife, Sadie died from a heart attack at the age of 69.
Sadie was a cell phone addict. "She always had a mobile with her," Jones told the Blackpool Gazette. So, of course, they buried Sadie with her cell phone.
Now Jones believes Sadie is getting service six feet under, and she has been sending him text messages with words only Sadie would say. Of course, there is no return number on the messages or missed calls, leading Jones to believe the communications are form his deceased wife.
Creepy? Yes. But here's where things get creepier: The house Jones lives in has a history of hauntings from a being called "The Thornton Thing". The entity drove a family from the house in 1971, and after the Jones family suffered hauntings as well, they had the house exorcised.
It wasn't until the untimely deaths of his wife and son did Jones start experiencing messages from beyond. The obvious question we can't help asking: What kind of service does one get up there? She's clearly getting a lot of dropped calls.

As for the woman who said that communication with the dead is unGodly, I do understnad what she is trying to say..When we die, we die. It's comforting to think that our loved ones are trying to contact us, but so many times that is NOT the case! Look, when we have a tragedy that weakens us, when we lose a loved one, we are prime targets for evil to get in. Remember when Ouija boards were all the rage? Those boards that give us the "ability" to talk to the dead? So you would use that board and ask your Great Aunt Betsy a question.. The thing is, that's not your "Great Aunt Betsy". That's the devil coming through. It's the same thing here. If that man is truly getting phone calls, it is NOT his wife!! The devil is a sneaky bastard.. For those of you who are questioning this, think about it. You can't have a Heaven without a hell. There truly is evil, and things like this is what's taking our focus off the important thing. Christ. Jesus Christ. Without Him, we're nothing, and if those of you think that you don't need Him, well you just keep telling yourselves that. These hauntings are not from loved ones, they're from the devil, and people need to be informed and careful.

Get this true story. Anything is posible. I have a white french phone on my bed side table. I bought it for looks fourteen years ago. It's never been hooked up to any wires. My granddaughter (18 years old) went into the bedroom one day about two years ago and the phone rang. She called to me. I went in there and it was still ringing. I wouldn't answer it. So she called. Pap paw come answer the phone. It did stop ringing and he didn't answer the phone. Would you answer the phone? Has it happened since then? YES.

Death is an illusion. When people supposedly die, they only transcend into a higher dimension- that's why communication with them is possible. The lastest discoveries in quantum physics point directly towards the existence of other dimensions besides ours. You can watch the "Elegant Universe" from NOVA for more info and read Dr. Brian Weiss books, who was a skeptic at first, too.

if she is trying to get in touch with him has she said anything to him. believe if it makes you feel better. tell her to go to the other side. she must know her son has passed, tell her to go to him.

Jennifer, you and Melissa need to get together and trade ghost stories. You are right, there is NO heaven or NO hell. These are just stories that people have passed down, probably by the guy wanting to kick some one with his three inch high heels. He sounds suited to life in New Jersey.

I believe him too. I kept getting dropped calls on 3/12/03 from my daughters phone. I kept calling back and there was no answer. She had been ill for months. When I got off of work I called her husband and told him thee was something worng at his home. He siad he would meet me there. My daughter had died fom kidney failure and we found her.
I asked the doctor that did the autopsy her time of death and she said 2PM. I was getting those calls up to 6pm and there was no one with her. Don't tell me it doesn't happen and the day of her service her husband and I both got calls from their home phone on our cell phones. There was no one in that house to make any calls.

I believe the guy. I have seen and heard a lot of strange things, and have no doubt that there is something beyond our physical plane of existence. Having witnessed a demonic possession and exorcism, I know firsthand that things beyond our realm are not to be taken lightly, and should be treated with caution and respect. Nor should they be played with, as in Ouija boards and whatnot.

To Jac - I totally agree - when my mother died I was at my home standing beside my bed sobbing because the hospital had called to say she was really bad and to come at once.
I couldnt bear to see my mother die - it terrified me and was basically frozen where I stood. Half of me trying to get it together and go - this was 3:30 a.m and the other half torn with guilt because I was afraid.
At 4:00 a.m. I was still in the same spot, still crying uncontrollably, and I felt this electrical-like energy fill my entire being, head to toe and walk right through me. I remember looking at the clock.
When I viewed the death certificate a couple of weeks later - my mother died exactly at 4:00 a.m.
I also had lived for two years in a haunted house and totally believe this man's story. And nooooooooo it is not the devil..........geezussss
mebcrowApr 2nd 2008 4:48PM
Yea i don't know if he should have stayed in a house thats demonic and has to be exorcised!!!!! i say let the wife go and get a new cell phone and see what happens. lol not to be mean. I don't think one should entertain demonic spirits..............it will get you introuble!!!

Agnes -
PLENTY of proof has been established, but closed-minded TOOLS like yourself are the ones who STILL continue to deny FACTS even AFTER the proof has been put right before you. I KNOW that my brother's father DIED in Feb. 1982, and that his voice was captured as clear as a bell on a cassette tape on a NEW tape recorded on my brother's first day of kindergarten in Aug. 1982. There is NO scientific explanation for this. None whatsoever. We were ALL skeptics in my family until this incident. I do not think, I KNOW, with 110% certainty that ghosts EXIST from this incident alone. Plain as day, it's HIS voice on the tape calling my mom's name. Explain this one, won't you? Since you're such a rocket scientist??
michelleApr 2nd 2008 4:56PM
I think it's possible. read the bible, "Through HIM all things are possible." YOu can't be a christian and a non-believer. You can't say that christ rose from the dead...then turn around and say that the living dead are demonic. I hate wishy washy people!

Leonard -
There are two Melissas posting on this board apparently, because I NEVER said that heaven or hell don't exist, because I believe that they do, but I also believe there is an in-between world, which is where hauntings come into play.
And as far as the other Melissa who is posting...please clarify yourself with a number or initial or something so people don't confuse our posts! :)

The reason they appear to little children is that children believe. Children have not had someone tell them it is impossible or that it cannot happen.
