Worst Online Hoaxes of All Time-7

Scamming the Scammers
You've probably heard about or even received an e-mail about getting funds from or another African country if you send them a small sum. This is called 419 fraud, and rather than sit idly by, Michael Berry founded 419eater.com as a way to get revenge. The site encouraged people to bait the scammers, often to get the Nigerians to take pictures holding up offensive signs in English. Some users were successful in getting cash sent to them, although this was discouraged. Either way, it's good to know that anyone can be had, even the perpetrators.

I was told I could get money helping businesses cash US money orders. When I received over $10,000 I got concerned. I called the number on the money orders and found they had already been cashed three weeks before. The guy from Nigeria was upset with me that he had not received his money yet. I told him my bank wanted me to wait until the money orders had cleared before I sent any money. He was very upset with me and told me that wasn't what we had discussed. He went on to say if I sent him the money I would get a bonus. I let this go on for over a week and than told him that he shouldn't call me again as I had already called the FBI about his scam. I also told him he should be ashamed of himself taking money from hard working people. In fact I had talked with one of the three people who had sent the three seperate packages to me and had reported it to UPS also. To this date I heard over 1500 packages had gone out from this one person, there was problably another 2500 just from what she had sent out. BEWARE again if it sounds great... you are the one that can get in trouble and also lose your money.

was it really necessary to add pictures for the Nigerian scams? couldn't pics of money orders have been used instead? not only were they totally unnecessary and racist, but they help perpetuate the mindset that black people are dishonest and dangerous. thanx a lot ! ! !

guesswhat? you are an idiot , that's what I guess. There aren't any white folks, asians or hispanics in nigeria running these scams. That is an actual picture of one of the scammers. Just so happens, he is black. And whether you want to believe it or not nigeria is an african country, with quite a few black people, last I heard.
