Netflix Glitch to Delay Deliveries

Netflix, the world's largest online DVD-rental service, is feverishly trying to recover from a recent Web site blackout that may delay deliveries to some customers.
The blackout happened yesterday around 7:00 a.m., Pacific time, and lasted almost 12 hours. This is the second longest such blackout in the company's history. The malfunction resulted in Netflix missing the deadline to send out large numbers of shipments on Monday. Those deliveries will most likely be sent out on Tuesday, according to Steve Swasey, a spokesman for Netflix.
Subscribers need not worry about their personal movie picks. None of that data has been corrupted or lost.
