I don't have to worry about using one while driving, or in the bathroom, where alot of people use them, nor worrry about the batteries exploding. I use old phones, which I'm completely happy with, etc. I think alot of us could be less dependent on I-Pod's , cell phones, etc. If you want to use them for emergencies, that is woderful, but not driving, or in the bathroom, or in the store where everyone might not want to listen to your conversations. That is my estimation is having a little respect for other persons, while not trying to involve them in your conversations when they don't want to, but have no choice because you are there where they are.
