Automatic Etch-A-Sketch Doubles As a Clock



Bringing the perpetually awesome Etch-A-Sketch to new heights of awesomeitude, DIY guru Angela Yuan has built an Etch-A-Sketch Clock.

Using the Arduino computing platform to control the machinery, the automated Etch twists the knobs to sketch the time, updated every minute. The entire Etch-A-Sketch rolls over to erase the numbers before starting all over again.

As we said: awesome. Now let's see her make it count the seconds.
