Spending $500 on a tabletop clock radio will only make you kick yourself when you hear the crisp, defined sound that comes from the $200 Cambridge SoundWorks 735i. While it doesn't have a CD player, the 735i comes with an external iPod dock and an auxiliary line-in that will work with many other devices (like a CD player!). Or you could wake up to plain old radio using the system's dual alarms and 24 station presets. Then, use the remote to turn the noise off and go back to snoozing.
