Wikipedia Founder Breaks Up With Girlfriend Via Wikipedia
Dumping someone via text message is cruel. Dumping them via Facebook status message, for all your friends to see, is even more cruel. But dumping someone by updating a Wikipedia page that all the world can see, well, that's an entirely different realm of cruelty. Alas, that's exactly what Wikipedia co-founder Jim Wales did to announce the termination of relations with his fling, former Fox News correspondent Rachel Marsden. The whole story rides a tawdry wave of sexy chat transcripts and accusations of improper behavior among the hallowed keepers of the Wiki. Wales admits meeting Mardsen after she made complaints to the site about some things posted on her Wiki page. The two later met and started a relationship, at which point Wales says he banned himself from any involvement in future edits of Marsden's page. Apparently, however, things started to go sour when Wales indicated the two were separated via an update to the globally public Wikipedia itself (originally posted here), only telling Mardsen herself directly (via IM) later.
Marsden, rather irate about the dumping, turned around and leaked some sexy chat transcripts to Valleywag in which, among other things, the two lovers plan out their sexual antics and discuss privacy concerns regarding Google. She then followed that up by posting some of Wales' personal items on eBay, a likewise unclassy move but, given the circumstances, perhaps not entirely unwarranted.

I find it interesting that the word "B!tch" is always equated towards women, when men clearly exhibit b!tchy behavior as well. Clearly from what this "little boy" did he is also a
b!tch. And please let's not start with the "victim card"- men play the victim card all day, everyday when they don't get their way.So it certainly goes both ways.
I also do not agree with what the woman did. I think both of them were childish. But for a man (or woman) to break up with someone over the Internet, I think they get what they deserve from the other person.

Regardless of how the relationship started, the end is deplorable by both parties. I cannot find the adult in this situation which is quite sad. However, we need to acknowledge that one bad turn does not neccessarily deserve another. Just think what we, the readers, would have thought if she would have not reacted that way but in a more grown up manner.

Why are rich and successful people the very ones who are unclassy and immature? I am looked down upon because I have no money, but I would never exhibit the behaviors some of these people possess. Amazing. You certainly cannot buy class.

he should look up douchebag in his stupid Wikipidia. If not found the Urban dictionary says:
A complete and total a**hole. Beyond the realm of bastard or sh*thead; a douchebag is a title given to those not only showing exceptional skill in being a total p*ick, but taking above-average enjoyment in their dirty deed. To appropriatly call someone a "douchebag" they need to be at least an as*hole, and have at least a hint of malice in their actions
