Cosmo Names Apple Stores Best Places to Meet Single Men
According to Cosmopolitan's list of The Best Places to Meet a Guy, Mac stores are among the best places to meet "good-looking merchandise" (otherwise known as men, dudes, guys, studs, etc.). The magazine suggests bellying up to a display unit and checking your e-mail "among cuties" or signing up for one of the Apple Stores' free workshops to meet single Mac zealots.
We have a hard time seeing Apple stores as single hook-up joints, but we're willing to give it a spin. See you at the Soho store at, say, 8pm, ladies?

For my money, the best places to meet men are grocery stores and bookstores. The local Barnes and Noble is almost like a bar and if I had a dollar for every time a man at my Trader Joes asked if I'd like to go out to dinner, I could retire.

"cosmo" your gonna believe cosmo?! um.. you wont find me at an "apple" store! im a common man.. drives a common Volkswagon.. find me at the po folks store, Wal Mart! its like my 2nd home! i buy everything i need there and then some! So, Ladies you gonna read up on cosmo and blow a bunch a doe at the computer store, or you gonna trust me? GO TO WAL MART between 830pm and 4am, it the best time to find a guy just trying to get into some "trouble".. hint hint.. trust me im a truck driver and thats when i go to wal mart come find me.. Whether your a man or woman for the most part no ones going to pay any attention to you or give you the time of day at a store unless your a pretty woman with a hot curvy bod or a handsome man with a hot muscle bod. Be one of these and you can get whatever you want ! But, for most people it's business as usual in a store, especially an electronics store. Cosmopolitan is really out there somewhere in the cosmo's ! lol

after turning 50, finding a good man becomes even harder. the men in that group are too busy trying to charm the 20-30 somethings who only want their money. the bars are a waste of time, bookstores can feel like the man is stalking you, apple stores??
there has to be an easier way or are all the good guys gone??

I am that 20 something lady, that you think is stealing all the men. Not the case, I am completely single right now. Somehow I started the year almost married, and ended up completely single. Perhaps I do want their $, but also want to fall in love again. I am also a cosmo lady, and no I am not a slut. I have to agree, bars and stores are not good places to meet men. Bars u'll only find 2 types of guys: players, or ugly loosers. Stores no one is paying attention. So maybe the gym. Although there is no ideal place to meet the girl or guy of your dreams. U could meet him or her anywhere, anytime, it is just a matter of whether u talk there is a connection and a relationship develops.
