something similar happened to my brother before, except he didn't do anything.. he just got accused of something that happened just prior to his arrival to the area.. rather than listening the cop just kept on accusing, not once allowing his mouth to shut up and let my brother and his friends explain the reality (they saw the real culprits even knew where they were but was never allowed to say it)..

i know people who are cops, and i know people who are "punks".. yeah this kid knew he wasn't supposed to be there, and as typical of "punks" (or i should say the rebellious type of people) they'll still do it time and time again.. it's just youth being youth, eventually they'll learn but there's many other ways to teach them that stuff..

i watched this video a couple times and i really didn't hear anything legitimate to prompt what the cop did.. i was actually shocked that the kid was actually more respectful to an extent than most other "punks" would have reacted.. and oh my god, the whole father thing bugged me.. yapping at the kid about not being his father and the kid responding that he didn't have one, oh my god! the cop wants respect but can't respect the kid for that sense? the whole fatherless thing (if it is true) can be a whole 'nother level of mental / emotional issues.. that's a low blow i think..

they both were wrong in their own ways, but the cop i think went over the top before the kid ever did.. true though, we don't know exactly what happened prior to this clip of the video.. but still the beginning didn't really show too much that much had happened prior.. *shrugs* suspension w/ pay = not a good enough..

Wait. Am I the only person who is wondering why he was suspended WITH pay? My Grandfather was a police officer for nearly 40 years. These guys don't do this to become millionaires and the job is hard and very, very stressful. But, Baltimore had better do something (besides give him a paid vacation) if they expect John Q. Public to listen and respect their positions. I can't say I hold a ton of respect for that department at this time....I'll hold my opinions until after DoIA is finished with his dumb ass. I didnt see anything wrong with what this kid did and everything wrong with what this officer did. If i was the kids parents this Officer and the his Dept would be up on criminal charges including violating my civil rights. The officer was very very aggressive and overstepped his position on so many fronts. I wanted so much to reach inside my computer screen and pull his gun out and give him a good ole fashion pistol whip. He should of been fired PERIOD!
