With an impressive range of acting and comedy work spanning the past three decades, Michael McKean has worked in television, film and on Broadway in productions as diverse as The X-Files, Saturday Night Live, Laverne and Shirley and many of Christopher Guest's films (This is Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind). What gadgets do you always bring with you to the set?
I have my Altec Lansing speaker dock for my dear iPod.
What cell phone do you have right now and what do you love/hate about it?
It's a Samsung with a few years on it. It doesn't do much, but it does it pretty well.
Who's the last person you sent a text message to and what was it about?
Nicky Katt. Something rude about the New Year, I think.

The hesitancy of AOL to get along with everybody else.

What's the longest time you've ever spent playing a video game in one sitting and what game was it?
Ancient Sega PGA Tour golf; several hours per night on the Spinal Tap bus w/CJ Vanston, Chris Guest and the always-late Rick Parnell. We're talking 1992, here!
Mac or PC?
Got both, use both. Mac has the edge generally because of Garage Band.
