This TV has 720p resolution, which is the same resolution as the Super Bowl broadcast, so you'll experience no loss of video quality. One typical knock against plasma TVs concerns the glare that comes from sunlight or a brightly lit room. Panasonic does a nice job combating this with an anti-glare coating on the glass surface, so you and your guests won't be stuck watching the game in the dark. This unit also has picture-in-picture, just in case you want to check on another program during the game or the half-time show.
