No, they DIDN'T "indicate" the sightings were caused by their jets, but that is apparently what they want you to infer. And you fell for it.
The Air Force (and other federal agencies) have a long history of denial, cover-up and out-right lies regarding the UFO subject. They simply want the story to go away without further public scrutiny. That isn't a "conspiracy theory." That's public record.
If you had any journalistic chops at all you would follow up and try to get more information before you just stupidly chant the party line.
