GPS Field Gets Crowded at CES

Automatic routing for multiple destinations at once: While they made their new product announcements just before the show, the folks at Garmin certainly drew a lot of attention to their booth, where the Nuvi 5000 was on display, along with a collection of other new devices. The 5000 has several benefits, including a 5.2-inch touchscreen display -- but the best part may be automatic efficient mapping, which lets you input several destinations and then the unit finds the most efficient route for you to travel to them all. A real time and distance saver, for sure. Look for it in February for $799.99.
