Louisiana Town Ditches 666 Area Code Over Religious Concerns

The poor residents of Reeves, Louisiana have been saddled with the telephone prefix of the beast since the early 1960's, and Christians in the town have been complaining since. Finally, the constant bellyaching paid off and for the next three months residents will have the option of changing their prefix to 749.
Mayor Scott Walker said it was "divine intervention," though we tend to think the power(s) that be have bigger things to worry about than this town's area code.

Yes folks! It's a rediculous place to live in some ways. Religion strongly rules Louisiana. Britney must be Pentecostal as everyone knows when you want to get laid find a Pentecostal Girl! Now why that is I have No Idia as sex hardly plays much of a role in religion that I know of, though I've had alot of them hit on me and when my father was stationed here in the air force same was true then so he sais. Once had a "Blue Law" that meant on Sundays one could buy food only in stores, no cleaning supplies etc...many stores closed on Sunday but then competing stores such as Walmart changed that one. Therefore the only thing speaks stronger than god here is sex and money! Hmmmmm! Wonder which speaks louder? Must depend on which side of the river one stands on when asking!

Peramarfe' gonna get ya!Louisianas version of the legendary Big Foot Monster! Not sure if spelled correctly though, I'm not I don't speak French! The Bible? Hey! I believe in God but The Bible was in fact written by Man! I may be wrong I admit but I firmly believe this was mans first attempt to mentally control others and implye what they felt would be appropriate law! Not that I dissagree with it's intensions but then again if adamn eve were created of each other that would mean Incest is appropriate and that more than one wife is as well! Get for Real People!
