Elderly Amish Man Caught on Film With Prostitute, Blackmailed
When a 75-year-old Amish widower slept with a prostitute, he -- we feel certain -- felt pretty bad about it the next morning. As if that guilt weren't enough for the old man, the prostitute and her boyfriend demanded $67,000 from him, claiming that they had filmed the scene with wall-mounted cameras and would upload the recording to the Internet. The pair was later arrested and, we can only imagine, the Amish man abhorred technology more than ever.
Bank Robber Gets Away With the Help of Craiglist
In October, a bank robber -- wearing a safety vest, blue shirt, face mask and goggles -- eluded police with the help of Craiglist. Just outside the bank, while the robbery was in progress, stood a group of men who were responding to a Craiglist day labor opportunity. As the advertisement required, they were all wearing safety vests, blue shirts, face masks and goggles.
Nude New Zealander Arrested After Responding to Fake Sexy Text Message
Late in 2007, a Wellington, New Zealand man received a racy text message from two anonymous "ladies," giving him only an address and a request that he show up naked. Well, he indeed showed up naked... at the home of one appalled, unsuspecting New Zealander. Both the nude Romeo and the sadistic texter were arrested, though neither were prosecuted.
Fake Craiglist Ad Costs Man Most of What He Owns
Last Spring, a post appeared on an Oregon Craigslist board stating that the owner of a specific house was leaving all of his worldly possessions (still in said house) to whoever wanted them. When homeowner Robert Salisbury rushed home -- on a tip from a woman suspicious about the offer of a free horse -- he found his house being ransacked by 30 strangers. We suggest he take that horse and collect some vengeance Clint Eastwood-style.
17-Year-Old Jailed for Stealing Virtual 'Furniture'
When a 17-year-old Dutch boy hacked into several accounts on the Second Life-style site 'Habbo' in 2007, the the law got involved. The boy was discovered to have stolen $5,800 worth of virtual furniture and knick-knacks. Apparently, crime -- whether actual or virtual -- does not pay.
Phishers Going After Your Phones in New 'Vishing' Trend
Over the past year, sneaky spammers have begun to forsake the worn-out territory of e-mail in favor of cell phones' fertile frontier. The result? "Vishing." Get it? Voice mail phishing. It might be more ominous if it didn't sound like a James Bond villain saying, "Wishing."
Burglars Break Into Restaurant, Steal HDTV, Leave Money / Food Behind
Around Halloween of last year, a truckload of thieves drove into -- that's right, into -- a Pennsylvania Mexican restaurant, where they -- apparently uninterested in the cash register -- stole a mid-grade 47-inch HDTV and fled the scene. We've all heard about how this generation is lacking in ambition, but this generation's thieves, too?

Did you know that our government wants to make it mandatory for everyone in America by 2012, criminal or not, to have a chip implanted into their arm that could be tracked via satelite, hold your personal information, and people have already proved it can be hacked. Some people want it to be implanted in their children but they don't consider that people who would steel children away can easily remove a chip, think about it. You can start research here http://youtube.com/watch?v=L-PIyL3ke24

Early detection is great but the more I learn, the less I trust the medical profession. Many in the field seem to want to prolong the illness and, consequently, the treatment. They have a financial interest in doing that.
I'm heavily into learning about natural treatments and am encouraged by what I've seen so far. I urge everyone to at least look at alternative possibilites.
Sadly, most have been conditioned and brainwashed to believe that only medical doctors have the answers. That's very false.

Don't get to excited, it will take the FDA or whoever approves it about 20 years to let it out. Then the insurance companies and medical facilities will have to decide on the cost, another 10-15 years.

I think this is great. More importantly, we should do stuff to prevent cancer in the first place. I am a cancer survivor who takes a gazillion vitamins. I take 250 mg of pomegranite a day to help fight free radicals. Do I know for sure it is helping? No, but I feel it can't hurt!
I buy most of my stuff at an online shopping
mall that gives me between 5-55% back in cash on all my purchases. There are over 1000 stores including Bluefly, Sephora, Apple, The Gap, Target, Drugstore.com. I also wait for sales so I get my cash back and the lowest price

As a cancer survivor this is great news.I just hope it works. Now all we need is the FDA to wake up and approve this.

FDA approve it fast would you? dont sit on it for 20 years and make it available for the general population without going bancrupt.
Its great news and lets have it. Europe is much faster with there stuff that works.

Its great, providing the FDA is not sitting on it for 30 years like they usualy do.
Go to Europe and see how fast workable medicine gets approved. Most of the stuff Europe had 10 years ago is finaly hitting the US.
We are behind the moon when it comes to experimental medicine and approval. why?

If we vote in a candidate who is for a national health care (socialism) program what will happen to research and developement? These discoveries are exactally why we pay more for health care and why we are always on the cutting edge above other countries! Also is why people in those countries come here when their lives are on the line, they cant afford to stand in those long lines because they'ed die waiting their turn!

It will never happen here as there is too much money lost for our Dr's, prescription drugs,Hospitals, etc. The government wouldn't want to lose money by giving us that kind of hope.
We know they have a cure but will never give it to us.

Did you "greed" folks ever stop to note how many physicians and their families die of cancer? Even pharmaceutical company execs die of cancer quite regularly!!
Does it make ANY sense they'd be delaying treatments that'd cure themselves??
Phuleeze!
And ... while it is true the approval process for new drugs, etc is faster outside the US, it is worth noting where the vast majority of those experimental treatments were invented. Right here in the good old USA.
Look to your friendly plaintiff's bar for part of the explanation. John Edwards, for example.
Or when you need an OB doc ... or a neurosurgeon ... to PROVIDE services. Wonder why they are going out of business in record numbers?
Take your herbs and "alternative" treatments, dummies. Then look at life expectancy when they were the standard of care.
Get real, folks.

Remember ppl, that the drug company's will stop anything they can to prevent cures for anything because they would loose trillions if cures were found. They only want to sell drugs to mask the true symtoms and make money. go for the natuall cures ,you'll live longer, detox your body of drugs, your liver will do the rest. as for the chip inplanted, read your bible, its all part of end time prophecy, i won't take the mark of the beast!
