Our Best TV Pick: Pioneer Kuro Elite 50-Inch Plasma HDTV
For the videophile who's been really, really good this year, there's no better way to say "I love, but I'd like you to stop talking so much" than by giving the top-of-the-line Pioneer Kuro Elite 50-inch PDP-5010FD. With picture quality so pristine that, from 3.5-feet you can see the film grain -- but not the pixels -- this TV will leave anyone speachless.

Ye Gods! It's spelled "speechless".

I don't want to nit pick but it is a big difference between the $6,000.00 Elite Kuro Pro
110FD and the list price of $5,000.00 for the Pioneer Kuro PDP-5010FD which can be found for $3,500-$4,000 dollars. The 5010 has a bottom mount speaker as opposed to side speakers for the Pro 110. The Pro 110 also offers more adjustments to assist in getting the picture just the way you would want. The picture on the Pro 110 is as close to perfect as I have ever seen, but the price is just a bit too steep for me. I will happily live with the excellent picture quality of the 5010 while still dreaming of the Pro 110.
