'The Hills' Himbo Brody Jenner Kicked Off Airplane for Using Cell Phone

Hey, it looks like sometimes "stars" just aren't like "us," at least when they're flouting rules about using handheld devices on airplanes during take-off. According to TMZ, do-nothing himbo and reality star Brody Jenner -- the son of Olympic decathlete Bruce Jenner and sometime love interest of Lauren Conrad on MTV's The Hills -- was kicked off of an American Airlines flight due to take off from Dallas this past Saturday.
Apparently the one-time bad-boy 'Prince of Malibu' refused to turn off his handheld device, even though flight staff had asked him to. (Jenner was most likely tapping his fingers on a Sidekick, as evidenced by the pictures of his various appearances at launch parties for that iconic keyboard device, below). But Jenner was not alone -- several other passengers refused to turn off their mobiles and got obnoxious with the flight attendants. All offenders, including Jenner, were escorted off the plane by airport police.
According to TMZ, charges were not pressed, and Jenner and others were rebooked on the more downscale ATA airways, which, ironically, is even more strict on the in-flight handheld ban than American, as evidenced by the fate of this poor guy.
So the next time any of you reality or less-than-reality folks out there decide to send one last text message as you're taxi-ing down the runway, make sure you're nice to the flight attendants. Oh, and for the love of God, turn off your cell phones!

How come everyone was using a cell phone on 911 on the planes? Cell phones didnt take the planes down, terrorists did and passengers continued to talk on them to loved ones until they crashed. Dont get me wrong, its a good rule not to use them, but its got to have something to do with courtesy, not danger.

Hey Aerospacemajor. Just curious about your statement. You mention keeping all of God's commandments. Do you keep the Sabbath on the seventh day as it says in the Fourth Commandment? I hope so because keeping 90% of God's law is not enough.

They should have taken these punks off the flight and then threw them in jail for 30 days and fined them $25,000.00 paid up front before they were released. They are (SCUM) of the earth.

Ok so I travel by plane for work on average about once or twice a week and I would say that I have forgotten to turn off my cell phone probably at least 1/2 that time. I'm still here. Personally I would rather people turn them off because I hate listening to other people talk about their crap as though everyone else around them gives a flying f*** about their lives but I seriously doubt that cell phones can take down a plane. I am certain i am not the only one that forgets, as I constantly hear peoples phones beep (likely telling them they are out of signal range) and like I said Im still here and I have never been involved in any kind of plane crash. Oh and to those of you that are all pissed off at Nicole maybe you shouldn't fly anyways. I'd rather sit next to someone like her than an feeble minded name callers any day.

Granted they were real shit-heads. But there is absolutely no evidence that cell phones interfer with the aircraft's electronics.

OK to nicole if you would have said you worked for a cell company in design to begin with people might not have been bitching, somuch. my friend is a pilot and almost gaureented he can tell you when a cell is being used to make a call and to every one else be nice its the hoildays.

This is only made funny by the fact that it has been scientificaly proven that there is NO CHANCE that a cell phone can interupt the workings of today's commercial airliners, or most other aircraft made in the past 10 years.
It is actually more of a situation that the powers that be don't want to have to deal with a proliferation of conversations going on in the cramped quarters of the plane.

As an Iowan I feel Hillary will be the winner of the caucas. Seems everyone I know or items printed indicate she is in the lead in Iowa. As an Independent she has my vote also. In my opinion there is only Clinton, McCain, and Dobbs that have the credentials of leading this country and I decided to ride the tide with Hillary. Say what you want, the girl has smarts. Does she have baggage, I guess, but don't they all?

Using your cell phone in flight can interfere with the electronics and avioncs on board an aircraft. They won't tell you but that's what made that one crash in Pennsylvania on 9-11.
Everbody gabbing away on their cell phones.
