Man Selling His Soul on eBay

If it wasn't clear already, the e-pocalypse is officially upon us. A man is attempting to sell his soul on eBay. For a million dollars, and 41 cents (for shipping, of course). From the man's eBay auction post:
A million unexpected dollars would be a miracle. The auction is for 1 million and 41 cents. The 1 million is not for me; it is for others. Aside from what I owe the government from receiving this 1 million dollars, I will not seek to gain anything tangible from this auction. I will be giving the full amount to those that I care about and those who truly need it. The 1 million and 41 cents is for the letter which I shall be writing you upon payment. I don't have a sad story to tell, and I just want to help others. This may sound crazy, but it just might work......Included is a picture of me and it is an accurate representation of what I will look like if this auction is a success.
Based on his haircut and disposition, we're actually thinking this guy is serious...
...seriously out of his mind! No bids yet.

I would like to buy his soul as a gift for someone who is souless. I would like him to put it in a zip lock bag and then urinate and defecate on it....and then mail it directly to my ex-wife.

Imagine the buyer's face as he opens up this little box, digs through the 'packing peanuts',and finds the soul of an old boot, along with a note that says "Gotcha!" in big bold letters. And after a long dramatic pause, the man says optimistically "Good thing i didn't order a Wii- no tellin what I woulda got!"

YOU CANT BLAME A GUY FOR TRYING...I was wondering what body part I could auction off, or at least rent. It would make a good story anyway..

Ebay removed the listing as they should. Amazing what some people will do for a little attention.
IcesharkDec 19th 2007 2:23AM
Gee...what a surprise...eBay pulled the listing. Should any of us be surprised by that? Heck no. Some guy that tried to sell his kidney a few years ago got his auction pulled too. In this day and age where people sell parts of their body to advertizers (Hello? Las Vegas? You want to advertize your casino on my friend's bald head or his wife's pregnant belly? SURE!!! We can do that!! How much will you give us?) is it really any surprise that someone would try and pull something like this? As 'honourable' as his intentions might seem to some, he's still asking for something for nothing and is just seeking the attention that, it seems, we are all too happy to give him. Ah, well, tis the season to be greedy...no matter who you are.

Used souls are worthless.

What a crock. This guy is as crazy as you can get. I guess its no different then asking people to pay off your home. That was on the net not to long ago.

hells fire...all i want is 100,000.00 us dollars,but i do want it for me...me...me...!
if that doesn't straighten my life out, then i will be convinced that money is just a vehicle...!
all my life has been very poor, except if you look at the fact of how poor the people of third world countries live,if i lived there,i might be living kind of well...!
but i am in america...there is nothing cheap here, except more poverty..!
and for at least half my life i have felt that my poverty has created my unhappiness..!
so,i want 100,000.00 us dollars so i can see if i am right,or wrong...!

Darn, eBay, I was gonna bid on this sobby letter, and you pulled it! Guess his quack is out of town for the Holidays and he got access to the computer!

I don't know bout having to pay to sell something on ebay because I've never used ebay to sell anything; but the ad has been removed, lol. I'm not surprised to hear such an ad has been placed, but what I'd really like to know is who the person is that permitted the ad to be placed and print to show in the first place. I mean thats kinda odd in itself.
