I remember back in 1994 trying to interest one of the Marine ROTC instructors in using Steel Panthers, a strategy game, to help teach cadets about the use of air power and artillery in the battle of Khe Sanh and how these made the difference for the Americans that the French didn't have at Dien Bien Phu.  Nothing came of my attempt at interdisciplinary ingenuity.  I    just    don't    think   he    got    the    concept.  Glad to see that the Army is embracing the technoloy, though.  Finally.
