IF SOME ONE CAME TO ME AND SAID IF WE MAKE THIS WIGET WE WILL SELL A MINIMUM OF 150 MILLION AROUND THE WORLD. WELL YOUR NOT GOING TO SAY GREAT LET'S SELL IT FOR A NICKLE ABOVE COST!<br>YOUR GOING TO THINK, MY COMPANY IS NOT DOING WELL AND WE NEED MORE PROFITS. WE CAN DO IT BUT FOR $200.00! I believe it is a lack of marketing.  I heard something a few years ago about a $100 laptop, then nothing until the TV commercial. I wish I had the money to donate one.
