Honda Testing Clean Hydrogen Fuel Cell Car
The cars have a range of 290 miles, roughly the equivalent of 68 miles per gallon on gasoline. The Clarity also uses regenerative braking, like a Prius, to charge a battery that also feeds the engine, increasing the efficiency of the car.
Hydrogen fuel cell tech is a zero-emissions fuel, releasing only water into the atmosphere as a waste product. Just a few short years ago, hydrogen fuel cells seemed like a pipe dream. And while this small scale production run doesn't mean that you'll be driving one of these environmentally friendly automobiles anytime soon, it is a huge step in realizing the dream of a pollution-free vehicle.

What a WONDERFUL idea! This is the technology that we need in order to cut our need for foreign oil. Kudos to you Honda! Detroit, are you listening? Hopefully this technology/car will spread across America, QUICKLY!

Fuel cell, a technology developed for the space program that powered our Apollo missions to the moon and currently powers the space shuttles. This existing technology should have been made available decades ago except for the special oil interests groups in congress and vision dead detroit. Kudos to Japan and Honda.

This is great news. Now, if the scientific industrial community will just get to work on the making of Hydrogen from sunlight through the use of marine blue-green algae, as well as other eco-friendly means, we'd be all set. Currently most Hydrogen has to come from electrolysis, which uses fossil fuel produced electricity. If you happen to live in Phoenix, or some other sunny place, and have enough solar panels on your roof as well as your own electrolyser, then you could make your own fuel, and side step the system entirely, providing you've got the loot.

There has been a lot of news lately surrounding converting your car to run on water (as a supplement to gasoline). The technology to run cars on HHO (which is derived from water) is proven, but the information to do so is usually expensive and hard to find.
Why Waste Money On High Price Gas? Convert Your Car To Run With Water...
As you are reading this, the national average gas price is around $3.46 per gallon. Next time when you stop by your local gas station to fill up your gas tank the price might be much higher. Many experts predict gas price could reach $4 per gallon soon. So, what can you do to save money on gas? CleanCarFuel.Com
