New "Vacuum Laser" Treats Acne, Spots, and Unwanted Hair
While we suspect quick-fix cosmetic treatments like microdermabrasion and Botox are popular largely because people enjoy saying the words microdermabrasion and Botox, we know it's also true that such treatments do in fact make people look different (though not always younger) and that they are more widespread today than they have ever been.
Though there are still many folks who shy away from such procedures, likely because sticking needles in one's face and having chemicals peeling away one's flesh just isn't natural or fun. But it looks like there's an exciting new option for those not ready for invasive (or painful) treatments, and are looking for something beyond Oil of Olay. It's called Isolaz, which is a photopneumatic device that uses a combination of lasers and suction to treat acne, reduce red or brown spots as well as remove unwanted hair.
The company claims that the Isolaz is painless and perfectly safe with no post-procedure recovery time needed.
If we can painlessly replace bikini waxing and Clearasil in one fell swoop, with a laser/vacuum combo no less, then mankind has indeed reached a new golden age.

What will they think of next? Whatever happened to aging gracefully?

Why get old if you don't have to. As long as it's not a bajillion dollars I'm all over it.
And not having to look like Joan Rivers is always a plus. :)

I'm glad there's a new laser out there, and I'll probably try it. I have had different types of laser treatments on my face, usually with good results, especially for redness, and nothing bad has ever happened to my skin. I just wonder if there are any long-term effects of using lasers on your skin, that we don't know about yet?

I think it's okay to use some safe non-invasive procedures out there to keep us looking youthful. We not only workout our bodies for health reasons but also to look good (i.e. youthful and attractive) so why not keep our faces young looking to match our bodies?
And, if you desire a youthful body along with that vacuum laser technology visit http://www.xpressworkouts.com and get some awesome workouts you can do at home or in your gym in 30 minutes or less!

I have had photo facials using a laser and laser hair removal and have had less than satisfactory results with either.
Take care of your skin and body and avoid by drinking water and using great skin products. I buy Dr. Perricone skin care (expensive!) and take off all my makeup every night with Cetaphil (cheap) and drink water and buy great sunblock (uva and uvb protection ) of 45 sfp which I wear always.
I buy all my stuff at Sephora online and shop at an online shopping mall that gives me between 5-55% back in cash on all my purchases. There are over 1000 stores including Sephora, Apple, The Gap, Target (great for soo much), Macy's. I also wait for sales so I get my cash back and the lowest price

some of "yous" need to work on your grammar and spelling before you criticize anyone about anything.

Hey, you all try this first and let me know how it works out! ;)

Well, if it means not going under the knife, and dose not cost a gazillion $$, I would love to grow old gracefully with this new technology! I just love the world we live in!
ChristyNov 21st 2007 5:22AM
Despite the obvious grammatical error, I will have to agree. Beauty starts from the inside. *Drinking plenty of water, exercise, eating healthy are going to do more to prevent the need of 'changing the way you look'.

They didn't say it reduces lines or tightens skin. Acne isn't a result of growing old and hair removal doesn't make you look younger. So, what's the anti-aging benefit???

Have you ever felt totally self conscious or stayed home from school, work or some party event because your acne has ruined your day? People who suffer from acne do. Girls try to cover up with cosmetics and guys just try and deal with it. We actually have used the Isolaz in our office, IT IS AWESOME!!!! We recently treated a competitive body builder who had acne on his entire back, it is now cleared up. He is thrilled with the results. E-mail me if your interested. We live in Washington State.
