Losing Face on Facebook - Five True Stories
Facebook is all over the news lately, but the headlines aren't all about valuations and advertising - there's been plenty of good old-fashioned sex and scandal as well. Here's a roundup of recent and not-so-recent misfortunes that have befallen those who carelessly post pictures on the limelight-stealing social networking site -- you'd think that people would have learned by now. Whether it's the fuzz or a hilarious Hindi a cappella group (see video above), you never know who might be prowling through your profile. As a public service, we offer our top five cringeworthy Facebook humiliations.

This was a funny video, it made me laugh! But at the same time it was real and it could happen to anyone and maybe should not be looked at as funny!

I think this was funny! At the same time it is so real that it is scary and shouldn't be funny!

Facebook, myspace and anyother blog is not bad. It is how you used it. You can set your profile to private, choose who you want to be friends with, and even block people from looking on your page. People are careless. Its their own fault not the company's. They gave you the option. So use it. I have both myspace and facebook. Yes I get people that I dont know asking me to add them. I simply push deny. Its easy.
So please dont try and feed me that Facebook and myspace are all bad. It depends on how you use it.
Oh, and on the under age drinking. If everyone only knew how many under age kids were drinking, smoking, and using drugs..

I know that we all have done stupid things in our life...especially as a teen. BUT, when you take pictures and put them on the internet you are making them available to EVERYONE in the WORLD! I did stupid stuff, still do...but I don't take a picture of it and put it on the internet. You might as well rent a billboard along a freeway...same thing.

Not Gay Thom, Proper English---Homo , Gay adj; Merry, Bright, Lively, brilliant in color, given to social pleasures, has nothing to do with being a rump ranger ie: Homo.

People have far exeeded the expectation of the internets ability to have their own watch me be a complete fool time. Like that kid that smashed his face against the porch off the trampoline and now has the brain capacity of a three year old, all so he could be on you retard tube. Some people are just plumb dumb as a stump.

Geez! Doesn't anybody believe in privacy or discretion anymore? Who needs Big Brother when we've got ourselves? Are some of you SO desperate for attention or notoriety that you'd actually put up some of these shameless photos? I think people need to take a "reality check" and understand that everybody can NOT be famous for 15 minutes. Most of you don't even deserve 15 nanoseconds.
