If you stare at the dot the whole time, it looks like its in color but as soon as you look away from the dot its black and white, then you look back at the dot and its in color again. At first I thought it was just changing from color to black and white, back and forth but if you watch it and dont stare at the dot at all it stays black and white the whole time. Therefore, when the black and white castle picture appears, you see those colors whose chemicals have been built up in your retina superimposed on the black and white picture. I thought that's dumb because it's just changing. Now I see the amazing thing is that it's in color when you stare at the dot and it's black and white when you don't.
