Lost Cell Phone Sparks Airplane Bomb Scare
In case you needed another reason not to forget your cell phone on a flight, we've got a good one for you. Last week a flight was grounded and evacuated at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport after a passenger found an unclaimed cell phone in the pocket of the seat ahead of him.
According to an AP report, the phone "appeared to have been taken apart, put back together and shoved into the seat." That was enough to raise the suspicions of the flight crew aboard the Alaska Airlines flight from San Jose. After the pilot was consulted, the plane was ordered to a taxiway in a deserted part of the airport and evacuated. Amazingly, The airport suffered only a 10-minute delay while the plane was searched by police and the FBI. No explosive devices turned up and the cell phone turned out to be just a cell phone.
Perhaps fearing air-rage-induced bodily harm, no one has stepped forward yet to claim the offending handset.

People, this is exactly what we are SUPPOSED to do. In the day and age in which we live, there are nut jobs waiting to kill as many people as they can, as violently as they can. This passenger did the right thing in reporting the phone and letting authorities handle it. Better delayed than dead folks...get it? If you see something, say something. Bravo to this alert passenger.

I understand.. we know who killed kennedy, we know when the universe was created, but we can't find the owner of a cell phone left in a plane

Why hasn't anyone figured out how to find the owner of the phone. It would be pretty simple if you ask me. Just call some of the numbers that the phone has saved. If the service is turned off on the phone you can still view the numbers in it and look at the details of the names and that would give you the number. Or call the phone company the serial number will tell them who it belongs to. I don't understand why this phone hasn't been returned to its rightfull owner. They are probably really upset that they lost the phone in the first place and have no idea of how to get it back. That is where whoever has it should step in and find the owner. They may have some important information or priceless pictures in their phone. just return it already!!!
