Politician Blames Porny PowerPoint on Son
Some stories are just too good to make up. Such is the story of Ohio State Representative Matt Barrett. He was giving a Powerpoint presentation to a group of high schoolers when something unexpected showed up on the screen: porn. Yes, a whole directory of the naughty stuff was on the same thumb drive from which Barrett was showing the presentation. Somehow it was displayed on screen as he spoke to the students. Barrett initially claimed the stick was given to him as a gift and had no idea where the stuff came from. As of today, however, he is blaming his son for the transgression.
Barrett has issued a statement calling this an "internal family matter" and asking that the media "respect for our privacy as we deal with this situation."
We're all dying to hear what sort of father son talk this will create.

What ever, the story sure beats the daylights out of having to listen or read about that Britney Spears character. As the world turns, so to speak, who really cares? We as a nation are on a collision course with reality and it 'ain't 'gonna be pretty.

You would think the dude would have seen the porn when he saved the powerpoint. Most thumb drives pop right up when you insert them. Its to easy to blame us kids when something is making you look bad. Kick the dog and blame the kid. Ya that works, the kid did it.

Well of course, he's a republican. If he was a democrat he wouldn't have to make his own excuses. Nancy Pelosi would do it for him.

Blame himself. Anyone that puts on a talk and uses media as an aid should check his media material a few times to make sure that their no glitches or hidden surprises on the media disc. Use a new blank media disc or be sure the old one is fully erased.

folks Mike asked if the son is a repub not the rep he's probably been reading the junior republican handbook chapter on sabotage. The guy needs to learn to do his own powerpoint instead of having his son do it for him.

If he were a REpublican, the situation would b e much more serious. It would have to involve homosexuality and pedophilia at the same time. And, this man is way too young. A Republican would have to be an ugly troll perpetrating the crime. So, don't confuse the two.

The title, "Congressman" is reserved for an individual who serves in the US Congress. The title, "Assemblyman" is reserved for an individual who serves in the state legislature. State legislators do not serve in Congress but in their respective state's General Assembly (hence the name).
Barret is an Ohio Assemblyman not an Ohio Congressman.
Now we have the facts.
