Best Gadgets for New Moms

Medela 2007 Limited Edition Pump In Style Advanced
So you've decided to nurse -- nice choice. Research has confirmed that breast feeding can help you bond with your newborn, as well as build his or her immune system. And, of course, it's also the most natural way to feed your baby. But if you're a working mom, or your little one is taking a little longer to get the hang of it, you'll need a good pump to help express your milk.
Medela is a trusted name in breast pumps and provides a selection of technologically advanced products. Its newest $320 Limited Edition Pump In Style Advanced uses 2-Phase Expression technology – a hospital-grade pattern that imitates a baby's natural nursing rhythm by pumping in two distinct phases. The "Stimulation" phase mimics a baby's initial sucking action to begin the milk flow and the second phase, called "Expression," replicates the longer feeding cycle to maximize the amount of milk in a shorter period of time. The new pump is housed in a pretty taupe tote bag that doubles as a diaper bag-or even a gym bag -- in a pinch. It includes color-coordinated nursing accessories and side pockets for keys, water bottles, cell phones or pacifiers. Fashionable and extremely practical, this pump includes an AC adapter, battery pack and even a manual pumping option, just in case.

Seems like a bunch of exspensive worthless junk to me guess why they call them gadgets. What every Mom needs is necessities. Not a lot a bunch of JUNK. Yes I would do EBAY if I was given this crap. Lola Marie

I'm the proud Mom of a 26 y/o and a 22 y/o. I want someone to invent a pump which will re-inflate my poor old saggers.
