I agree with Carman Turner. The keyboard key contacts consist two printed circuit sheets and associated switch parts. It's easy to disassemble the board and clean the sheets. I use Windex, since it leaves little or no residue. If the sheets are sufficiently cleaned, and correctly realigned and reassembled, the keyboard will work. I love the touch of my keyboard and hesitate to replace it. I'm a recording engineer. You don't know misery and expense until you spill coffee into a professional mixing console. It's a mistake in which suicide can become an attractive option.

MY SON SPILLED OJ ON THE KEYBOARD ONE NIGHT, WELL WE DRIED IT OUT, BUT TALK ABOUT STICKY KEYS...I POPPED ALL THE KEYS OFF, WASHED AND DRIED THEM IN HOT WATER AND CLEANED UP THE INNARDS WITH ALCOHOL AND A FEW Q-TIPS. WORKS FINE.

Anyone ever hear of global warming? How bout at least trying to save your old keyboard instead of adding to trash in a landfill. I would rather have the $15. to send to charity.

What are you folks still using keyboards for? My craniodemodulator is a sealed unit that cannot get wet at all inside.
Silly 21st century Earthlings.
