Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000

Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000

Most students spend a good 5-10 hours a day typing away at their keyboards doing research and writing term papers -- we hope. But even if a good part of the day is spent instant-messaging or updating Facebook pages, a proper keyboard and mouse are required. Microsoft's latest ergonomic desktop is designed with hardcore computer users in mind: It features, for example, a sloped gull-wing design that makes it easier for your fingers to find keys (but may unnerve people who took typing classes). The keyboard is split and angled in the middle, which allows for better arm- and wrist-positioning (goodbye, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome). We love the big and bulbous mouse, which has a baseball-like shape that's less straining on the hands. And it's all wireless, using a proprietary 2.4GHz wireless technology, so no messy wires and no buggy Bluetooth.
