Chinese Video Game Kills Corrupt Politicians

Chinese Video Game Lets You Kill Corrupt Politicians

Who knew that a video game cheaply produced by a government agency with graphics that are at least 15 years old could become a bit of a cult hit? The Chinese Communist Party Disciplinary Committee is the financial backer of "The Incorruptible Warrior," a downloadable game popular in China in which you play as an "honest and upright official" whose mission it is to punish corrupt officials, their families and their mistresses. And by punish we mean kill.

The game appears to be an isometric action role playing game, similar to 'Diablo,' where you gather experience by killing the crooked politicians and building skills such as, "Combating corruption," "Moral character" and a "Degree of being corruption free." The game features 165 characters taken straight from Chinese history. The good fight on your side, while the famously corrupt are the target of blood-soaked justice. What the bikini-clad women pictured above are for, we don't know.

We imagine that a similar game made for U.S. politicos might also become a rousing success. Who wouldn't enjoy taking out a few members of our rotten government. Perhaps when they see how much glee the public takes in fantasizing about a bit of the old ultra violence against them, they might start thinking twice about stashing $90,000 in their freezers.
