gadget
that term has a certain ring to it
like saying
cool junk
if something is useful it is what it is
a tool or a bicycle
if it is neat and cool and makes you want to have it and you never end up using it
well
that is a gadget
I like gadgets
I have a basement full of gadgets
there are also some tools and some bicycles
which I use
the gadgets collect dust

I have a Garmin GPS which I use riding... not because I travel so far (I'm no Lance) but it's a great training tool - it shows time, speed, climbing, your route, and maps it for you so you can repeat it and try to "beat" your best time. Gives you max/min heart rate and time in each "zone" and total calories burned (yippee!) Fun for road and off road riding and hiking too. You can even email your hikes/bikes to your friends. :)

3. unique and patented as such
4. really cool whatever your age
