That would mean you would have to be doing in excess of 200 MPH to record that long before the crash. Police cars have been using cameras for years.... certain truck and bus companies have been using cameras to reduce their insurance costs.    This technology will be resisted by those afraid of being caught speeding or recless driving.  The Unions will hate this.
