How Presidential Candidates Are Using the 'Net

Rudy Giuliani
Rudy has a Blog and a Web site, but not much else. Tools for organizing are pretty much nonexistent. There are no easy links to any other social services he may have a presence on. MySpace, and its impact channel, make finding political candidates profiles easy... but Rudy's page is private. Bad move. As of this writing, he still hasn't approved our request to be his friend, so we can't tell you anything about his page or how many friends he has.
Giuliani also has a YouTube channel, though you have to go out of your way to find it. The current video that greets you is pretty much an extended campaign commercial outlining Rudy's "12 Commitments." The Giuliani campaign has completely dropped the ball when it comes to digital campaigning, keeping the focus on Rudy, not empowering supporters, and not properly promoting the few Web resources it has.
