Darth-Vader-Themed Laptop for Kids
When it comes to educating your kids, who else would you call upon but Darth Vader? His ... compelling educational abilities were quite clearly demonstrated in the first three 'Star Wars' films. But, you might be wondering, how can I get Lord Vader to teach my kids? Worry not parents, because electronics maker Oregon Scientific has created a Vader-themed laptop-like educational device. That's right, everyone's favorite pod-racer cum Sith lord is now available in educational digital form.
The device, which is more LeapFrog than Lenovo, is shaped like a Vader helmet and flips open to reveal a small keypad and lightsaber-styled stylus. It includes fifty educational games and tools to help kids learn to spell and pronounce words. No pricing was announced, but expect it to cost about the same as the company's existing Superman- and Barbie-themed laptops at $60.
Combine this with Sony's new Vader-themed PSP and you've got the perfect entertainment system for the little Sith in your family.
