Sony's Killzone 2 Is For Real: We Have Proof
When Sony revealed the PlayStation 3 at the Electronic Entertainment Expo a few years ago, the soon-to-be over hyped console was backed up with trailer after trailer of stupendously gorgeous gameplay footage. Unfortunately, as it would later be determined, some of that footage was pre-rendered, giving you no more an idea of the console's capabilities than you might get from popping a DVD of 'The Incredibles' into your PS2.
One of the most impressive videos was for 'Killzone 2,' a follow up to Sony's self-titled PS2 'Halo' killer. Like the others, this video too was pre-rendered. But Sony has redeemed itself, finally doing it right today by showing actual gameplay that looked just as good as the pre-rendered tailer of yore. We sat there and watched as one of the game's chief designers blasted his way though a level ... and we must say we were impressed. Check out the photos we snapped below and see a trailer on Joystiq.
