It seems to me that all the people who like this phone also say they werent big tech freaks before the Iphone so they are easily impressed by the phone even though it is flawed up the wazoo. All the people who actually KNOW what good tech is, dont like the I-phone at all. I happen to be on the later catagory. And dont get me wrong, there are certain things about this phone that are VERY innovative but on the other hand there are just too many things that are missing. It seems like for every innovation on the i-phone there is something missing that we've all gotten used to as standard on modern cell phones. For instance, there is a new technology out that will allow touch screens like the i-phones to give sensory feed back that mimicks and feels exactly like one was pushing an actual button. Why did apple not include this? I believe the thins that are excluded actually, slightly out number the innovations so I think Ill wait for the second version of this phone. If they havent perected it by then, to hell with apple. Ill stick with my Nokia N95 which has been over shadowed by all the hype of the I-phone. The N95 is actually in my opinion the best phone on the market to date. 5megapixel camera, actuall working GPS, memory slots, TV port. I mean c'mon. Pound for pound the N95 is vastly better than the I-phone. I-phone customerrs are suffering from an acute case of "The Emperors New Clothes" lol

As a faithful blackberry user...it took all of a week (and 15 minutes with a co-workers new I-phone) to catch the call of the newest cell on the block!! Set up and transfering my line was a breeze (I hate it that so many people had to wait...I guess sometimes it's better to not be the first person in line!). The keyboard takes a little getting used to, but if you aim for the tops of the keys it goes much faster. Having your phone and music and movies (which you can swap out as needed) all in one device is just the bomb. My handbag is lighter and that helps my shoulders! (too bad I couldn't get a prescription from my chiropractor!). Hahaha! Iphone lovers...enjoy your device! Technology is a wonderful thing!

I sat in line with a friend for almost 7 hours in the Florida heat to buy 2 iPhones and I love them both.
Especially since I sold them both for 1000.00 each on EBAY. I can't wait for the second version to come out so I can make another 800.00 profit for 7 hours sitting around.

Wow. Don't those people who stood in line forever feel wasted. Seriously. I know people who walked right up. You don't get a sticker that says i was first in line. Thats not even a hot topic. I don't know anyone who is more proud that they got their iPhone first! Whats the big deal with the iPhone anyways? Wait a few months and an even greater phone is going to come out. But are people going to wait in line for hours? No. Just b/c it was created by a "brilliant" man people pays out their butt for a stupid phone

I keep seeing all these people claiming they bought an Iphone or two then sold them on E-bay for a profit. Maybe I'm stupid But I used to work for a big carrier, not ATT, but didn't these people have to sign a contract to keep ATT, or is the $599 price full retail without a contract? Or if they did sign a contract, I'm then assuming they were just existing customers who already had an ATT or Cingular phone they just re-activated. Just wondering. I have better things to do with $600 then waste it on a toy that doesn't even get 3g and doesn't support work e-mail. Basically an Ipod that surfs the net at 56k speed and lets you make phonecalls. Whoppeee!
